1974 Yamaha MX250a.
About 20 minutes on rebuilt engine. Fresh bore with new .020 over piston. All new bearings and seals. New HPI complete ignition kit. Runs very strong. Oil pump has been removed and is premix at 32:1 now.
New paint and decals.
New plastics from DC Plastics.
New tires and tubes.
Forks cleaned and polished and new seals, oil and dust scrapers.
Lots of other new stuff.
This is a very nice bike ready to ride, race or just show.

For Sale: 1975 Honda MT 250 Elsinore

Nice re-built/re-conditioned bike that needs a new home/owner. All street equipment has been removed, but saved if you want to restore it as “new” Enduro street legal bike. Restoration was completed 10yrs ago. Motor was rebuilt and got all new internal seals etc. MANY NOS parts used with some left over and extras collected. Bike was stripped-down as a dirt tracker. Have complete wiring harness, lights, gauges etc. Unfortunately, this bike has sat in my outbuilding unridden but covered for 8yrs and will need some love to bring her back to the shape she was in when stored. Don’t expect it to start without a solid carb clean, but compression is ridiculous (as these big thumpers were) and kicks over cleanly.

This would make a great vintage racing candidate or just fill a nostalgic space in your life like it did for me. I know what I have but need to thin the herd and also want to it go to a good home. Make me a realistic offer! Pick-up only. May consider short travel/deliver for right price and person.

I’m trying to build a street tracker DT1 And I could use either a down swept pipe or the dimensions of 1. Maybe also a flat track style seat/tank set up. And a frame lowering kit if available. Or just maybe a copy of the instructions for 1. Any help would be great. Some porting specs too if available.

This Husqvarna 250CR came from the Barber Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, Alabama. It is in very good condition with minor patina. Runs good. It is close to all original, however it has Works Performance shocks and a Mikuni, all of which makes this a nice rider or vintage class racer. It has proper VIN on the engine and frame for 1973, new Michelin tires, chain and sprockets are newer, tank is clean inside and no dents, new fenders, seat is nice original. Nothing cracked or broken. Video of bike running available.
