1975 Kawasaki KX250
Our site has been seeing green lately! This showcase is of a 1975 Kawasaki KX250 from Don Enders of Gratz, PA.
This is a 1975 Kawasaki KX250. The bike started out as a roller, basket case that I drug out of the weeds behind an old barn/shed in 1999. I had been racing vintage mx in the AHRMA North East on a ’74 KX250 in 1997-2000. A rule change allowed alike design machines to become eligible for the sportsman 250 class. So an upgrade was in order! In 2000 it was raced 4 times. A broken leg ended my racing for many years, it sat in my basement and storage ’till last year, but now back in action!
A few of the upgrades include a reed valve cylinder, 38mm carb, U.S. Sports aluminum swing-arm and DG Gold head. There are more, but it has too many upgrades to list. Truly 1 of a kind and a blast to ride!
Thanks for sharing your green machine Don!
