1976 Bultaco 250 Pursang
Today we’re looking at some classic Spanish made iron, a 1976 Bultaco 250 Pursang. This one comes to us by way of Thomas Scott of Waterford Michigan.
My son-in-law gave me the bike 10 years ago. It was completely ragged out, wore out motor, and painted with a black spray can. I rode the bike for 25 minutes and the bolt for the swing arm came out. The bike threw me down and broke three ribs. It sat in my shed the last ten years and I decided to restore it last October.
It was a complete restoration done by me. The motor was done by Hughs Bultaco. The paintwork the polishing, everything else was done by me. I did not tell my son-in-law until it was finished. It is all original except the seat and rear shocks. All cables and other small parts were supplied by Hughs Bultaco. The bike took second place on July 12th at the AMA hall of fame bike show at vintage days at mid Ohio. Yeah, I’m very proud of the bike!

What a great looking bike, thanks for sharing, Thomas! We gotta know, did the son-in-law ask for it back?
